Regional corporate finance corporation
• Support the planning/design of and provide technical support for data communications network or group of networks in the organization
• Research and evaluation of network technology and recommending purchases of network equipment
• Support and maintain the overall network infrastructure throughout the organization
• Implementation of new infrastructures, hardware refreshment to align the industry standards
• Apply the changes to network in line with business requirements
• Network design and implementation for regional coverage
• Responsible to build and maintain the technical diagrams, documentation and associated system processes and procedures
• Contribute to business continuity and business recovery exercises, taking part in regular business continuity testing
• Co-ordinate with external vendors on system inquiries and maintenance
• Network monitoring and troubleshooting
• Participating in all stages throughout the lifecycle of network equipment
• Coordination and working across teams and vendors on project implementations and remediation
• Providing Level 2 & 3 support
• Perform ad-hoc duties as required
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Information Systems or related disciplines
• Preferred: CCNA or CCNP
• 5-year hands-on enterprise level network support experience in a Banking, Finance, Accounting institution or any other regulated industry sector
• Exposure to or experience with application NG Firewall, routing, switching, cabling infrastructure, WAN, LAN, VPN, monitoring system
• Exposure to various authentication mechanisms not limited to TACAS, RADIUS, MFA, SSO
• All around understanding of technologies including network infrastructures, desktop technologies, server technologies Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good team player and ability to work across IT teams.
• Positive "can-do" attitude, proactive, independent, self-motivated, result-oriented and able to work with challenges and continually keeps up to date with new technologies and adapt to fast changes
• Experience in a Regional WAN landscape an advantage
• Familiarity with tools not limited to Wireshark, NMap, Putty
• Familiarity with Cisco equipment preferred
• Good command of English and Chinese (Putonghua is an advantage).
