Desktop Engineer
Responsibilities
• Provide technical support/solutions for end user computing technology and equipment
• Front-line problem support, prioritization and fixing, collaborating with technology teams and local vendors
• Provide high quality administration support on Microsoft Windows environment
• Perform level 2-3 hands-on desktop support, troubleshooting and configuration
• Define and maintain the Windows desktop standard build, documentation and procedures
• Responsible for computer deployment and ensure the Windows patching level up to date
• Provide IT support during BCP, conduct desktop products evaluations
• Co-ordinate with external vendors on hardware / software inquiries and maintenance
• Ticketing system to record and update all user requests and reported problems in a timely manner
• Establishing baseline images on operating systems not limited to Windows 7 and Windows 10
• Manage the lifecycle of endpoints though activities not limited to patching, hardening, testing and validating with existing/new technologies deploy to an endpoint
• Provide Level 2 support
• Perform ad-hoc duties as required
IT Administrative Assistant
Responsibilities
• Support the end to end IT procurement process and related clerical work
• Maintain IT inventory control
• Assist with the general support for day-to-day delivery activities including the on-site vendors
• Vendors, Contracts and IT (software and hardware) Assets Management
• Specific Duties & Responsibilities
• Responsible for IT procurement, placing and expediting orders for supplies, verifying receipt of supplies
• Work with Finance department to settle the IT invoices and IT asset inventory management
• Communicating with vendors for product details or price questions, negotiating contracts to get the desired pricing
• Maintain supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level
• Assist IT team to manage user windows and application accounts, documentation, accounts provisioning and de-provisioning and house keeping
• Perform ad-hoc duties as required
Desktop Engineer
Requirements
• Bachelor in Computer Information Systems or related disciplines
• Microsoft Certified Engineer and Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician would have a definite advantage
• 5-year hands-on desktop engineering experience in a Banking, Finance, Accounting institution or any other regulated industry sector
• Proficient in Windows, MS Desktop Applications, Adobe Product, Anti-Virus, MDM, MS O365, Bitlocker, problem diagnosis tools, remote support tools, deployment and patching tools, ticketing system
• Experience with administering and managing AD Group Policies
• Experience with PC cloning process, maintenance of images, and PC migrations
• Positive "can-do" attitude, proactive, independent, self-motivated, result-oriented and able to work with challenges and continually keeps up to date with new technologies and adapt to fast changes.
• Good command of English and Chinese (Putonghua is an advantage).
• Good interpersonal skills, telephone manner and service attitude
IT Administrative Assistant
Requirements
• Bachelors in Business Administration or related disciplines
• Proficiency in MS Office (including Chinese word processing)
• 4 year’s prior work experience in corporate or client facing environment
• At least 2 years of clerical and administrative work experience (preferably gained in IT field)
• Good interpersonal skills and capability to work with all levels of people
• Attention to detail and solid organization skills, including multitasking and time management
• Analytical and detail oriented
• Good command of English and Chinese (Putonghua is an advantage).
