• Develop software to maximize commercial value in line with our digital strategic
• Design, develop & implement large-scale, Internet-based applications, frameworks and platforms
• Hands-on software framework development and infrastructure setup
• Maintenance and enhancement on existing applications
• University degree or above in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline
• At least 3 years of experience using NodeJS or Java
• Combination of experience with MySQL, Redis, MongoDB or NoSQL solutions
• Experience building a backend API to be consumed by multiple applications (e.g. web and mobile)
• Experience with Docker and how to use it in the context of micro-services
• Familiar with Linux-based systems, comfortable in the terminal and SSH
• Experience using git for source control
• Experience with Amazon Web Services, or another popular Cloud provider
• Care about quality and you know what it means to ship high quality code
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Putonghua and Cantonese)
