• Accountable for development and management of Commercial IT & Telecom products and services
• Evaluate technology trends, customer feedback, market trends and competitive activities to formulate product development plan
• Design and develop Internet Access / IP Transit, SD-WAN, MPLS-VPN, Managed CPE and Managed Security Services, with HKT in-house resources or by partnering with vendors
• Drive new product & business development by HKT in-house resources or through business partnership with technology vendors or service providers
• Plan, develop and manage end-to-end service delivery platform, process, skills and tools for new product roll-out (e.g. Service provisioning, Operations, Management & maintenance, Customer Service, Billing, Sales / Pre-sales / Operations staff training, etc.)
• Manage on-going product operations, including but not limited to quality assurance, cost-improvement, product enhancement to ensure product is competitive in the market
• Work with internal Product Marketing teams or external vendor / service provider partners to formulate and implement new product roll-out campaigns and programs
• Accountable for meeting or exceeding prescribed new product development key performance indicators (KPI’s), including but not limited to development time, costs, quality, and customer demand / revenue targets
• University Degree holder or equivalent in Information Engineering, Telecom Engineering or Computer Science
• A minimum of 8 years’ working experience in IT or Telecom industry, of which at least 2 years in product development or product management roles
• Hands-on experience in formulation and implementation of business plans to penetrate target market segments
• Knowledge and hands-on working experience with Carrier / ISP Internet Network, MPLS Network, SD-WAN Network, Network Security, and Carrier OSS/BSS technologies preferred
• Self-motivated, result-oriented with good business acumen, analytical skills, communication skills, interpersonal skills and able to work independently
• High proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese (Putonghua)
