Client Description
Our client is a Hong Kong's leading online lending and credit services platform with businesses across Asia regions. To cope with their business needs, they are now hiring a Head of Finance for their expanding team in Hong Kong
Job Description
- Develop and implement finance and controlling systems and processes that align with the organization's overall vision and its business objectives.
- Lead finance function in Hong Kong so that financial and controlling transactions, policies, systems, and procedures meet the organization's short and long-term business objectives and comply with regulations, accounting principles and standards.
- Prepare the organization's financial reports and business performance reports to the Management and relevant parties.
- Develop operation and budget plan in accordance with the top management direction and budgeting guidelines.
- Involve in fundraising activities and business projects. Provide financial and accounting advices to management in order to formulate the most optimal plans.
- Provide cost effective and innovative IT solutions and infrastructure to support the requirements of business growth and productivity improvement.
- Continuously review and improve the effectiveness and efficiencies of the process and organization with the aim to reach world class level.
- Manage the performance and talent development of functional teams under management.
- Lead and coach the team to support the businesses and guard the integrity.
- Lead new accounting system implementation.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline
- Qualified Accountant with HKICPA/ACCA or equivalent
- An experienced financial executive with at least 10+ years of successful track record in a commercial environment of multinational company and minimum 6 years of experience with solid big 4 background.
- In-depth knowledge of HKIFRS or IFRS.
- Experienced in banking and finance industry a plus.
- Preferably with experience in other functions other than finance.
- Strong commercial sense and business acumen.
- Proficient in strategic and tactical thinking about the business, developing actionable business plans and demonstrating to team members how to achieve those plans.
- A positive attitude, highly self-motivated and desire to succeed.
- A high degree of flexibility in adapting to a rapidly changing environment.
- Excellent spoken and written communication and presentation skills.
- Strong integrity.
- Fluency in English and Cantonese is required.
