• Lead the cloud design, technical governance, and security configuration to provide a robust foundation for multi-cloud workloads.
• Manage the global cloud transit network architecture using a hub-and-spoke connectivity model across regions and data centers.
• Identify and implement top-tier cloud architecture solutions that align with the strategic business needs of the company.
• Conduct architecture reviews, approvals, and root cause analysis for complex issues within a multi-cloud environment.
• Develop strategies for security baselines, governance, resilience, disaster recovery, and cloud portability/exit plans.
• Review data architecture patterns for collection, ingestion, and processing using integrations like Kafka, BigQuery, and Vertex AI.
• Drive cloud cost optimization initiatives, including resource forecasting, TCO development, and migration planning.
• Collaborate with platform engineering and stakeholders to implement best practices in deployment and project management.
• Evaluate new cloud standard design patterns, approved service catalogues, and updated security policies regularly.
• Lead design workshops independently and deliver complex projects utilizing native public cloud services.
• Bachelor’s degree or Higher Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in public cloud architecture and strategy involving Azure, AWS, GCP, or Alibaba Cloud.
• Deep understanding of landing zone architecture, cloud networking, and modern cloud security concepts.
• Hands-on experience with DevOps pipelines, automation repositories, and Identity and Access Management (IAM).
• Strong knowledge of cloud cost management, billing, monitoring, logging, and resource optimization.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks, AI security, and cloud governance standards.
• Proven ability to design for failure and implement cost-effective models for transferring applications to the cloud.
• Excellent technical skills with a positive attitude and the ability to collaborate effectively across the organization.
• Strong communication skills in English and Chinese to articulate cloud designs to engineering and compliance teams.
• Demonstrated experience in supporting and implementing high-availability public cloud environments.
