Job Description

• Report to the Systems Analyst and execute all phases of software customization and program development according to technical specifications.
• Develop, troubleshoot, and maintain the new Human Resources Management System for a government department.
• Conduct comprehensive program testing, System Acceptance Tests, and trial runs to ensure software quality.
• Collaborate with users to define and implement functional requirements that align with business needs.
• Liaise with external vendors during system implementation and provide technical support for User Acceptance Tests.
• Prepare technical documentation, including job control procedures for trial and production rollouts.
• Facilitate data migration and conversion processes to ensure system integrity.
• Assist the Systems Analyst in conducting training sessions and developing training materials for end-users.

Job Requirements

• Possess a degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
• Have at least five years of professional IT experience, with a minimum of two years focused on government IT projects.
• Demonstrate at least one year of experience implementing IT systems integrated with "iAMSmart."
• Exhibit proficiency in RDBMS technologies such as Oracle, MS SQL, MySQL, or MariaDB.
• Proficient in programming languages and frameworks including Java, XML, HTML5, CSS, and MS .NET.
• Familiar with modern infrastructure and architectures like Linux, Kubernetes (K8S), OpenShift, microservices, and containers.
• Possess strong communication skills in both English and Chinese; experience in government documentation is highly preferred.
• Show a proactive "can-do" attitude and the ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously under pressure.
• Experience in mobile application development or Human Resources Management Systems is considered an advantage.
