• Work closely with the IT team at headquarters in London to develop and implement the regional IT strategy, ensuring alignment with global objectives.
• Develop and update IT policies and procedures for the Asia region to support expanding operations.
• Oversee infrastructure, cloud storage, applications, and IT service delivery to ensure seamless business operations.
• Ensure IT security practices align with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and Group policies.
• Lead initiatives to modernize IT systems, improve efficiency, and support business growth through technology.
• Manage IT budgets, negotiate vendor contracts, and optimize technology investments.
• Build and mentor a high-performing IT team, fostering innovation and collaboration.
• Serve as a key advisor to business units, ensuring IT solutions meet commercial and operational needs.
• Handle additional tasks and projects as assigned by company management.
• Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Have at least 10 years of experience in IT, with over 5 years in managing a regional IT function, preferably within a multinational or regional role in the retail sector.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of enterprise IT infrastructure, cloud solutions, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies.
• Proven ability to successfully lead digital transformation projects across multiple geographic locations.
• Experience in managing IT budgets and vendor relationships is required.
• Exhibit excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, along with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Be fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
• Be flexible and willing to work overtime, be available for emergency calls, and occasionally collaborate with the UK IT department outside of normal working hours.
