• Design hybrid infrastructure solutions using Azure, on-premises virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), AKS, server hardware, and storage systems.
• Collaborate with sales teams to deliver technical presentations, demonstrations, and proof-of-concept deployments.
• Conduct discovery sessions to understand customer requirements, challenges, and IT environments, translating them into actionable solutions.
• Provide expert knowledge of Azure services (IaaS, PaaS, AKS), on-premises virtualization, container orchestration, server infrastructure, and storage technologies (SAN, NAS, object storage).
• Educate customers on hybrid cloud strategies, including Azure Arc integration, AKS hybrid deployments, and infrastructure modernization.
• Prepare solution architectures, scopes of work, cost estimates, and technical documentation to support proposals and RFPs.
• Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and advancements in Azure, Kubernetes, virtualization, and storage technologies.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and post-sales teams to ensure seamless transition from presales to implementation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in presales, solution architecture, or technical consulting with a focus on hybrid infrastructure, cloud computing, or IT solutions.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure (VMs, Azure Networking, Azure Storage, Azure Virtual WAN, AVD, AVS, AKS).
• Hands-on experience with on-premises virtualization platforms (VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V).
• Understanding of networking concepts such as VPN, SDN, and load balancing in hybrid environments.
• Proficiency with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and container orchestration tools (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Knowledge of server hardware (e.g., Dell, HPE, Lenovo) and storage solutions (e.g., SAN, NAS, Azure Blob Storage, Azure Files).
• Familiarity with Veeam backup tools (e.g., Veeam Backup & Replication, Veeam Data Cloud) is an advantage.
• Familiarity with Azure Arc, Terraform, and hyperconverged infrastructure solutions (Azure Stack HCI) is an advantage.
• Experience in DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD pipelines, GitOps) is an advantage.
• Certifications such as Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Administrator Associate, VMware Certified Professional (VCP), and Kubernetes certifications (CKA, CKAD) are preferred.
• Proficiency in Cantonese, English, and Putonghua.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Strong analytical skills to assess customer needs and propose effective solutions.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and build strong customer relationships.
