System Support Engineer
Client Description

Company Description: A leading telecommunications company providing a broad range of services, including mobile, broadband, and enterprise solutions.
Location: Tsim Sha Tsui and Kowloon Bay
Nature: Renewable Contract (12 months)

Job Description

• Provide first-line support for IT systems, applications, and hardware.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to software, hardware, and network systems.
• Monitor system performance and conduct regular maintenance to ensure optimal functionality.
• Assist in the installation, configuration, and upgrading of software and hardware.
• Maintain documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
• Collaborate with IT teams to implement system updates and enhancements.
• Train and support end-users in the effective use of software applications and systems.
• Respond to user inquiries and provide timely solutions to technical problems.
• Ensure data integrity and security by implementing appropriate backup and recovery procedures.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in system support or technical support.
• Strong knowledge of operating systems, including Windows, Linux, and macOS.
• Familiarity with networking concepts and technologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of VMware is a must.
