Digital Solutions Manager
Responsibilities
• Scope digital development, understand business needs and propose digital solution options with strategic considerations and alignment with overall business model, digital strategy, cloud and IT standards
• Handle solutions architecture and proposal, with end-to-end solution blueprint which will act as a source of guidance and control for digital solutions implementation
• Prepare work plan and budget plan of digital solutions development
• Shortlist Digital Solutions from solutions sourcing and market research, conduct options evaluation with recommendations
• Develop and deliver work plan, via coordination with key stakeholders in business lines and digital services teams to align the requirements and work plan, and obtain agreement on deliverables
• Implement and commission reports of services/projects implementation of digital solutions and platforms, from pilots to full deployment
• Report Business Lines’ feedback and users’ comments for on-going enhancement and further development
Digital Product Manager
Responsibilities
• Lead the operation and continuous improvement of eCommerce, digital automation platforms, and their integration with other partner systems; ensuring applications are maintained and enhanced in a timely and efficient manner to cater for dynamic changes in the business environment and needs
• Lead and deliver small to medium sized projects. Drive system design, participate and monitor project implementation activities, including configuration, conduct quality assurance and prepare project documentation
• Engage and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders (e.g. business users, developers, UX designer, architects, interfacing partners) to ensure adequate understanding of business requirements throughout the software development cycle to deliver solutions that meet the business requirements
• Manage application management service vendor to deliver system support in accordance to agree service level agreement
• Ensuring eCommerce platform’s performance, stability, security
• Providing support and advise on business streamlining with digital automation platform
Digital Solutions Manager
Requirements
• A recognized University degree in Business Administration, Engineering, IT or related disciplines
• With 6 years or more suitable exposure and experience in engineering, technology or IT project management and business analysis
• Good knowledge in data architecture and new digital products, e.g. software tools, mobile apps, IoT and A.I. applications
• Good knowledge in practices and business model of energy and infrastructure projects
• Good team player, preferably experience in cross-BG innovation or technology projects, ability to provide insights, contribute in various cross-BG strategic innovation projects
• Good analytical and commercial skills, with ability to build high level economic models to support the business case of digital solutions development
• Good presentation skills, in particular the ability to reduce complex technical issues and concepts into simple and concise initiatives
• Strong leadership and excellent organization, team collaboration and interpersonal skills, with ability to collaborate with multi-disciplined staffs from other teams in the Company to deliver business objectives
• Keen motivation for continuous learning and awareness in new digital solutions trends application to energy industries, with strong sense in identifying medium to long-term opportunity
• Good engagement skills in dealing with a wide variety of stakeholders including internal stakeholders, external business partners, technology & industry players, star-up communities
• Excellent communication skills including verbal and written Chinese and English. Fluency in Putonghua is a plus
Digital Product Manager
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related disciplines. Master’s degree in a related field is desirable
• Professional certifications in Magento platform are highly regarded
• Professional credentials in ITIL, PMP, COBIT, ScrumMaster, DevOps, or relevant disciplines preferred
• 5-8 years of IT and eCommerce platform work experience with a broad range of exposure to various technical environments and business segments. Experience as programmer, business analyst or project manager is preferred. Experience in utility industry would be an advantage.
• Proven experience in large-scale systems and cloud-based solution implementation and operation
• Hands-on experience in Magento eCommerce platform operation, design and development (PHP, HTML5, CSS, Vue.js, React.js, Node.js, Responsive Design), good knowledge in RDBMS (e.g. Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g. Mongo DB), knowledge in version control and DevOps tools (e.g. Git, Azure DevOps) would be an advantage
• Experience with Agile/Scrum Development, Microservices architecture and REST API Integration
• Experience in eCommerce platform’s integration to ERP (e.g. SAP) are highly regarded
• Experience in digital solution implementation like Microsoft Power BI, Power Automate, Robotic Process Automation solution, etc
• Proven ability to be effective in a customer facing role, driving customer centric ways of working
• Proven track record of problem solving and analytical abilities and able to use own initiative
• Strong communication and negotiation skills, as well as influencing skills in English. Cantonese & Putonghua language abilities highly regarded
