Senior Applications Delivery Specialist
Responsibilities
• Assist team manager to lead IT projects to create direct business impacts and adhere to firm deadlines
• Serve as the focal contact point with user departments for day-to-day engagement and arrange regular account review meetings to communicate future IT plans and IT budget
• Manage application enhancements and ensure all requests for support are dealt with according to set standards and procedures
• Drive a team of developers to take responsibility of system development work based on the agreed user requirements, sets of standard, defined timeline and deliverables
• Measure the performance return, or whenever necessary to fine-tune the parameter of IT systems to ensure appropriate analytical techniques are specified and applied to create information which supports business decision-making
• Interpret IT security risk report, communicate information security risks and issues to team players and others and apply specific security controls as required by organizational policy and local risk assessments
Systems Analyst
Candidate with less experience will be considered as Analyst Programmer.
Responsibilities
• To perform project management of application systems from system development & project implementation
• To lead a team to perform the following duties:-
• Conduct feasibility study, functional requirement study and corresponding documentation
• Perform system design & prepare design documentation
• Evaluate & recommend IT tools & technologies to solve technical problems encountered
• Provide user support on application systems and standby support outside office hours
Senior Applications Delivery Specialist
Requirements
• Degree holder in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT Management or other related disciplines
• At least 10 years of relevant working experience, of which 4 years in a supervisory role
• Experience in related industry such as terminal operations, shipping lines and / or logistics companies etc. would be an advantage
• Excellent knowledge in system development, implementation, maintenance and support process
• Familiar with Client Server, Object Oriented, Web Technology, Java J2EE, Oracle and SQL Server, UNIX and Windows environment
• Hands-on experience in HTML5/ CSS/ Java/ JavaScript/ Objective-C, webpage and mobile apps (Android/ IOS) development/ deployment
• Basic knowledge in Web Service REST, JSON, XML, JQuery, AJAX, Unix Shell Script and Network
• Good skill in system architectural design and knowledgeable in technology trend
• Highly customer-focused and self-motivated with excellent analytical, presentation and communication skills
• Able to work independently and efficiently under pressure and tight schedule
• Strong command of both written and spoken English (HKCEE or HKALE Grade C/ HKDSE Level 4 or equivalent) and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua)
Systems Analyst
Requirements
• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related discipline
• Minimum 6 years of relevant work experience
• Familiar with Client Server, Object Oriented, Web Technology, Java J2EE, Hibernate, GXT, Oracle and SQL, UNIX and Windows environment
• Hands-on experience in Java programming, webpage and mobile apps development
• Knowledge in container terminal operation is an additional advantage
• Good command of both English and Mandarin
• Good analytical skill and customer-oriented
• Able to work independently and under pressure
• Overseas travel might be required
