Our client, a financial services company, a leader in online payment system, who is urgently seeking a Sr. Accountant to join the team in Hong Kong
Job Description
- Report to Senior Finance Manager for all financial reporting and operational finance matters across company’s operations
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements and analysis for management review
- Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements for external reporting purpose
- Review finance and accounting operations, including accounts payable transactions
- Streamline financial process to improve work efficiency and strengthen the internal control
- Be prepared to get hands-on in resolving issues and exploiting new opportunities as they arise
Job Requirements
- University graduate with at least 5 years financial operation experience
- A member of a recognized professional accounting body is definitely an advantage
- Good understanding of IFRS/HKFRS
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience in Oracle and Hyperion is an added advantage
- Knowledge of e-payment and financial services is a plus
- Mature, self-motivated, strong sense of responsibility, independent, detail-oriented and well organized
- Strong people management and communications skills with the ability to earn the respect and trust of peers, seniors and subordinates, so as to win their support and cooperation
- Fluent in both written and spoken English and Chinese
